Stripe Billing
BindPilot's billing integration with Stripe
Stripe Billing
BindPilot uses Stripe to securely handle subscription billing and payments.
Billing Overview
BindPilot is SaaS subscription-based, not transaction-based. You pay a monthly subscription; the number of quotes, renewals, and clients is unlimited.
Note: This covers BindPilot's agency platform. Carrier premiums (what you pay on your clients' behalf) are separate and billed directly by carriers.
Available Plans
| Plan | Cost | Seats | Features | |------|------|-------|----------| | Starter | $199/month | 1 | Basic quoting, ACORD forms | | Professional | $499/month | 3 | Team, agents, renewals | | Agency | $999/month | Unlimited | White-label, priority support, custom integrations |
All plans include 30-day free trial.
Billing Cycle
- Billing Date: Same day each month as signup (e.g., signup Apr 13 → bill every 13th)
- Invoice: Sent to your billing email 5 days before charge
- Payment Method: Credit card only (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Failure: If payment fails, BindPilot retries for 5 days then pauses your account

Changing Plans
Upgrade to a Higher Plan
- Go to Settings > Billing > Current Plan
- Click Upgrade
- Choose new plan
- BindPilot prorates the difference (credit previous charges, bill new difference)
- Your seat count increases immediately
Example:
- Starter ($199) for 10 days
- Upgrade to Professional ($499)
- Credit $16 (10 days of Starter)
- Charge $133 (20 days of Professional)
Downgrade to a Lower Plan
- Go to Settings > Billing > Current Plan
- Click Downgrade
- Choose new plan
- Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle (no immediate charge)
- Excess seats are frozen; new team members can't be added until you're under the seat limit
Example:
- Professional ($499) → Downgrade to Starter ($199)
- Downgrade scheduled for end of month
- Your 3 producer seats drop to 1 producer limit May 1
- Remaining producers lose access (can be restored if you upgrade back)
