Account Setup

Set up your BindPilot agency account to enable quote generation, compliance, and team management.

Creating Your Account

Registration Options

  1. Email + Password

    • Go to https://bindpilot.ai/register
    • Enter your work email, create a password (8+ chars, 1 number, 1 special)
    • Verify your email via link sent to your inbox

  2. Google SSO

    • Click "Sign up with Google"
    • Approve scopes (email, profile)
    • Confirm agency name

Agency Profile Setup

After registration, complete your Agency Profile before you can generate quotes.

Required Fields

E&O Certificate Requirements

  • Minimum Coverage: $1M per occurrence / $2M aggregate (state-dependent)
  • Accepted Formats: PDF, JPEG, PNG
  • Max File Size: 10 MB
  • Expires Check: BindPilot alerts you 30 days before expiration

Why E&O is required: State insurance departments require proof of errors & omissions coverage to verify your agency's standing.

Producer License Verification

BindPilot uses NIPR (National Insurance Producer Registry) to auto-verify your producer license.

Enter Your License Info

  1. Go to Settings > Profile > Producer License
  2. Enter:
    • License Number (e.g., "12345678")
    • Resident State (state of primary license)
  3. Click Verify

What Happens Next

  • BindPilot queries NIPR within 2–5 minutes
  • If active and current, you're approved to quote
  • If expired or inactive, complete it before generating quotes
  • NIPR check runs quarterly to catch lapses

Multi-State Licenses: If you hold licenses in multiple states, add them under Additional Licenses. You'll be able to quote in all states where you're licensed.

Payment Method

Set your default payment method for your monthly subscription.

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Payment Method
  2. Add a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  3. BindPilot charges monthly on your billing date

Email Preferences

Customize notification frequency and content.

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications
  2. Choose:
    • Quote Ready — When all carriers have responded
    • Renewal Alert — When a renewal is X days away
    • Team Invitation — When a team member joins
    • System Updates — Product announcements
