View and download your invoices

Billing History

Access all your BindPilot invoices, payments, and billing records.

Viewing Invoices

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Invoices
  2. See all past invoices listed by date (newest first)
  3. Each invoice shows:
    • Date: When you were charged
    • Amount: Subscription charge
    • Plan: Which plan you were on
    • Status: Paid, Pending, Failed

Downloading Invoices

  1. Click an invoice to open details
  2. Click Download PDF
  3. Saves as BindPilot_Invoice_[Date]_[Amount].pdf

Use these for:

  • Accounting and bookkeeping
  • Tax deductions
  • Expense tracking
  • Audits

Payment Methods

View and manage your payment method:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Payment Method
  2. See your currently saved card (last 4 digits, expiration)
  3. Click Update Payment Method to change

Note: BindPilot only accepts credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). No ACH or check payments.

Failed Payments

If a charge fails (e.g., card declined, expired):

  1. BindPilot sends an email: "Payment failed"
  2. You have 5 days to update your payment method
  3. BindPilot automatically retries on day 2, 4, 5
  4. If all retries fail, your account is paused on day 6
  5. Update your card to restore access immediately

To fix:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Payment Method
  2. Update your card
  3. Click Retry Payment
  4. Access restored within 1 minute

Billing Notifications

BindPilot sends email notifications:

Adjust notification preferences at Settings > Notifications > Billing.

A typical BindPilot invoice includes:

Tax: $0.00 (SaaS not taxable in most states)

Prorated Charges

When you upgrade mid-month, you see a prorated charge:

Invoice: Upgrade to Professional
Previous Plan: Starter ($199/month)
Used: 10 days = $66.30
New Plan: Professional ($499/month)
Remaining: 20 days = $99.33
Refund: -$66.30
New Charge: $99.33

Math: You've paid $66.30 for Starter; you owe $499 for the month; refund the Starter portion; charge the difference.

Tax Information

Sales Tax: BindPilot (SaaS) is generally not subject to sales tax in the US. Some states may apply tax; we handle it automatically if applicable to your state.

Invoice Email: We send invoices to your registered email (not the card-holder email). Update your email at Settings > Profile.

Accounting Integration

For QuickBooks or Xero users:

  1. Download invoices as PDFs
  2. Manually enter in your accounting software (as SaaS subscription expense)
  3. BindPilot invoices are sufficient for tax filing

(Direct accounting software integration is coming in Q3 2026.)

Requesting Refunds

BindPilot offers refunds under these conditions:

  • Billing error (charged twice, wrong amount) — Full refund
  • Service outage (> 4 hours downtime) — Prorated refund
  • Within 30 days of signup (trial not satisfied) — Full refund
  • Cancellation — No refund (service provided for the month)
