ACORD Forms

BindPilot auto-populates standard ACORD forms from your client records and the quote context, reducing manual data entry.

Supported ACORD Forms

Auto-Population Rules

When you generate a quote, BindPilot pre-fills ACORD forms with:

You review, correct, and submit to the carrier.

Workflow: Quote to ACORD

  1. Generate a Quote

    • Enter client and risk info
    • Run comparative shopping
    • Select a carrier
  2. BindPilot Auto-Generates ACORD Forms

    • ACORD 125 (general) + ACORD 140 (history) + product-specific forms
    • Pre-filled from client/risk data
    • Ready for your review
  3. Review & Correct

    • BindPilot shows the form in-app (read-only preview)
    • Click Download PDF to edit in Adobe Acrobat if needed
    • Make corrections (BindPilot doesn't support in-app editing yet)
  4. Submit to Carrier

    • Download the completed PDF
    • Email to carrier underwriting, or
    • Use carrier portal if they support direct upload

Manual Form Submission

For forms not yet supported, use the traditional process:

  1. Go to Quotes > [Quote ID] > Documents
  2. Click Upload Form
  3. Attach a PDF (scanned or carrier-specific forms)
  4. Add notes or carrier requirements
  5. Save; BindPilot stores it in the quote record

Form History & Archival

BindPilot keeps a complete history of all submitted forms:

  • Go to Clients > [Client] > Policies > [Policy ID] > Documents
  • View all ACORD forms submitted for that policy
  • Download previous submissions for audit/compliance
