Boldera Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “BindPilot AI”) operates the BindPilot AI platform, a software-as-a-service product designed to assist licensed insurance agents in obtaining comparative insurance quotes from multiple carriers. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our platform.

This Privacy Policy applies to:

Insurance agency administrators and users of BindPilot AI;
Policyholder information submitted to our platform for quoting purposes;
Data stored in your agency’s tenant instance.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, agency name, phone number, and state insurance license information.

Quoting Data

To generate comparative insurance quotes, you may submit policyholder information including names, addresses, dates of birth, vehicle information, property details, and prior claims history. This data is transmitted to appointed carriers via secure APIs solely for the purpose of obtaining quotes.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and session duration.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, maintain, and improve the BindPilot AI platform;
To submit quote requests to insurance carriers on your behalf;
To process billing and manage your subscription;
To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support;
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
To comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We share policyholder data with insurance carriers solely for the purpose of obtaining quotes. We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers (hosting, payment processing, analytics) who are bound by confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest (AES-256), multi-tenant data isolation, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. Quoting data is retained for 36 months for compliance and audit purposes. You may request earlier deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us at matt@bindpilot.ai. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA.

8. Children’s Privacy

BindPilot AI is a business-to-business platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email to your account administrator at least 30 days before they take effect.
